1. DECLARATION FORM FOR EXHIBITS
This is the most important importation document for
customs clearance in China for both
before and after the exhibition.
All items shipped must be listed on the DECLARATION FORM
FOR EXHIBITS WITH
H.S. CODE for each package, so that Chinese Customs may
identify every package upon
examination. For literature you can list the total quantity
of each category on one form.
Please complete DECLARATION FORM WITH H.S.CODE for each
package and
submit 4 copies to Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd. the soonest.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Prior to its release, all merchandise imported into China is subject to
customs inspection. Dragon
Link Enterprises Ltd. will arrange for entry and customs clearance on behalf of
the participants.
1、LITERATURE/FILMS/SLIDES/VIDEO TAPES
All of the
above items must be submitted to Chinese Customs for approval prior to the
opening of the show before their display
and distribution. Details of this procedure are:
i) 3 samples of all literature (including
brochures, leaflet) must be submitted to our office
no later than Sep12, 2008
for on forward to China for approval.
ii) Films, slides, video tapes are to
be received by our office no later than Sep 12,2008
for on-forward to China for
approval. It is advisable to send all video-tapes and
slides (or their script and
description) to DRAGON LINK as per
our deadline for censoring in China.
Otherwise, they have be submitted on the spot to
the Chinese Customs through DRAGON
LINK on-site staff before making use
of them in exhibition. Exhibitors
planning to carry this kind of equipment personally into
China may be required to pay
a deposit to the Chinese Customs for the release of these
equipment into China.
2. ADVERTISING GIFTS/GIVE-AWAY ITEMS
i) 3 samples of each advertising
gift are to be received by our office no later than Sep 24,
2007 for on-forward to China for approval.
Please take note that tax may be levied by
the Chinese Customs and distribution
of advertising gift is strictly prohibited without
Chinese Custom approval.
ii) Give-away items are dutiable. Taxes have to
be paid as per Chinese Customs Rules and
Regulations.
3. EXHIBITS FROM LOCAL SUPPLIERS
Local exhibits are those already
cleared by Customs and duty-paid goods in China
The Exhibition Division of Guangzhou Customs is
no longer involved in the registration of
local exhibits delivered by the local suppliers
for exhibitions at the Center. Instead the
security department of The Guangzhou China National
Agricultural Exhibition Center is
responsible for the registration. Those exhibitors
having local exhibits must register with the
security of their exhibition hall upon moving
in those exhibits. The security of the Guangzhou
China National Agricultural Exhibition Center will not
allow moving-out of the local exhibits
if they did not register during moving-in. This only
applies to local exhibits and not those
bonded exhibits from overseas.
D. DUTIABLE GOODS
The Hong Kong Government will charge duties
for the followings goods:
1. Tobacco - All kinds of tobacco including cigar, cigarette

on the outside of each pack of cigarette are not allowed
to be imported into Hong Kong:
“HONG KONG GOVERNMENT HEALTH WARNING: CIGARETTE SMOKING IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR

3. Hydrocarbon - All kinds of petroleum products
including refined petroleum and diesel
for automobiles.
4. Industrial Alcohol - Exhibitors shall be responsible
for all duties in Hong Kong and
such items must be packed separately. Purchase
invoice together with List of Exhibits
should reach Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd.
at least 7 working days before cargo arrival
in Hong Kong.
E. DANGEROUS CARGO
In case you have any goods, which are classified as dangerous/hazardous
cargo, 3 copies
of certified IMCO class certificate must be sent to Dragon
Link Enterprises Ltd. along
with other documents.
F. QUARANTINE
In accordance to the Law of People’s Republic of China on the
entry and exit Animal/Animal
Product/Wastes of Animal Nature Quarantine, needing about 20
work days, whose charges
and fees belong to the fact payment.
i) Whoever intends to carry or post “Animal”
into the country must submit an application
in advance and go through the formalities
for examination and approval of quarantine
inspection.
ii) Whoever carries “Animal” into the country
must hold Hygiene Certificate issued by the
exporting country or region.
iii) The Quarantine Office shall collect fees,
according to relevant regulations, for
performing quarantine inspection.
iv) To prevent infectious or parasitic diseases from
spreading into the “Animal”
on the means of leaving the country shall be disposed of
and may not be transferred
or cast away without authorization. v) Whoever violates
the provisions of this Law
shall be fined for criminal responsibility by the Port Animal
and Plant Quarantine Office
NOTE: The terms “Animal” means the animals, whether domesticated
or wild, such as livestock, poultry, beasts, snakes, tortoises, fishes, shrimps
and prawns, crabs, shellfishes, silkworms and bees.
PACKING INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended that whenever possible, exhibitor’s material must be packed in
cases and/or crates suitable for us for return shipments, if necessary. To protect
goods against multiple handling during transit, it is recommended that contents
be securely choked, blocked and braced, please ensure that:
1. All exhibits packed in cases must be well covered and water
proofed due your exhibits
will store at open area before or after the exhibition.
2. All crates/cases should be bolted rather than screwed or
nailed.
3. Stapled or “stitched-nailed” crates or cartons should not
be used except for disposable
goods.
4. If crates/cases cannot be slung, they should be mounted on
skids to facilitate the handing
with forklift trucks.
5. Exhibitor, at their discretion, may plan to exhibit equipment
on “skid”, as the floor
may not always be completely level. These “skid”
must however be suitably covered
to preserves the overall presentation of the exhibition.
6. To minimize risk of loss, damage or delay, avoid shipping
your exhibit in small packages.

Please apply a minimum of two shipping labels per package and use only the metric
system
when stating dimensions and weight.
Special Markings
In addition to the above, markings should be shown on the sides of the crates/cases
where
applicable.
1. Label “FRAGILE” items on all sides.
2. Items, which must be kept in upright position, on 2 sides,
label “THIS SIDE UP”.
3. Items which cannot be store outdoors must be marked on 2
sides with the umbrella symbol.
4. Stripes should be painted on vessel, tanks and similar equipment
to indicate where slings
must be placed for hoisting. Also label “SLING”
in the proper locations.
5. Cases containing spare parts must be marked “SPARE PARTS”
and contain only
spare parts
6. “Center of Gravity” and “Front” “back” signs must be clearly
marked externally for
uneven loads and bulky items.
7. Other markings should conform to the International Rules
and Regulations governing
packing signs and symbols.
FUMIGATION
If the packing material (even the pallet or little part of the package) contains
Conifer, fumigation
must be done and original fumigation certificate is needed To ensure the WPM is
properly treated
following information must be marked or stamped on the outside packing: IPPC Logo,
ISO
country code, unique nrassigned to the company (000), fumigation HT or MB. If the
packing
does not contain but contain wood, the shipper should offer "Non.-Conifer Wood Material
Packing Declaration" If the packing material does not contain any wood material
the shipper
“should offer original "NON-WOOD material Packing Declaration. This term are only
for EU-
countries,USA, Japan and Korea.
STORAGE OF FREIGHT DURING THE EXHIBITION
Exhibitors requiring their freight (as opposed to empty cases) stored during the
exhibition
are request to notify Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd. as soon as possible, allowing
them to make
special arrangements. Access to freight once stored will be possible at certain
times during the
exhibition. These items will be published at a later date.
STORAGE OF EMPTY CASES
Empty packing case will be automatically removed, stored and returned to the booth
at the
close of the exhibition. Every effort will be made to return empty cases to individual
booth for
packing at the close of exhibition, but priority will be assigned to exhibitors
with hand-carried
items.
RETURN OF EXHIBITS ETC. FOLLOWING THE CLOSE OF THE EXHIBITION
During the exhibition, you will be visited by a member of Dragon Link Enterprises
LTD’s staff
who will give you full instruction regarding the repackaging and shipment of your
goods.
N. B.It is advisable to include a quantity of spare packing material (e.g. wrapping
paper, plastic
foil, etc) in your original shipment to replace any that may be inadvertently destroyed
during
unpacking.
All return shipments of exhibit and handling over the exhibits to Chinese Organization
will only
are arranged when all customs clearance procedure is complete.
Please bear in mind when planning further use of your exhibits and displays based
on receiving the
exhibits in Hong Kong NOT EARLIER THAN two months after the exhibition.
INSURANCE
Please note that all work undertaken by Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd. is at owner’s
risk and
no direct insurance on exhibits is provided by us.
Every exhibitor should make certain that all shipments are covered by a full comprehensive
policy from the time of dispatch from works to Guangzhou and return (including exhibition
period), preferably through a company of which the people’s Insurance Company of
China is
the agent in Guangzhou. It will be useful in case the exhibitor intends to claim
for damages or
loss in China. Exhibitors are free to use their own writers. Otherwise, our company
is able to
arrange insurance coverage of exhibits from the points of origin till destination
and vice-versa for
re-export. Please let us know if required.
PAYMENT
A. For Inbound Movement and Closing of Exhibition Exhibits
will only be transhipped to
exhibition upon full payment to “Dragon
Link Enterprises Ltd.” by Otc 18, 2008
B. For Return Shipment
i) Hong Kong Exhibits: payment should be
settled to “Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd.”
before release of exhibits in Hong
Kong.
ii) Overseas Exhibits For exhibits by air:
- Payment should be settled to
“Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd.” before release of exhibits in Hongkong.
For exhibits by sea:
- Bill of Lading will be released
